Fend-o-rized

60% chance of rain for Saturday's ride prompted fend-o-rization of Grey Trek. Riding in the rain without fenders sucks. Just sayin'.

I agree....Fenders make a huuuuuuuuge difference when riding in the rain.
I have never understood why they are seen as not very cool.

Fenders look better on a Tricross!

True. Very, very true. I no longer ride without fenders under any circumstance.

It seldom rains where I live, but I put fenders on my commuter anyway, because when it does get wet out there, fenders are indispensable.

I also agree. I like fenders...and mirrors.

I disagree with Steve. The Trek looks better with fenders than the Tricross, I think. Hope you have a great ride!

The bike looks completely ready. Have a great time out there tomorrow.

I still don't have fenders. The LBS is trying to sell me plastic ones, saying they are much quieter, but I think I want metal for the look.

The TREK looks great.

I like the look of fenders on most bikes, and they are definitely a plus in the wet. That said, though, there are certain bikes where the look just doesn't appeal. That is why my Handsome XOXO doesn't have fenders, even though I do occasionally ride it in the rain.

Form over function, in this instance, I suppose...
