This is the biggest hill on my commute. It is steeper on the closest side going down (my record is 37 mph) than going up farther away. Now I know this is still pretty flat to most folks, but it is a hill nonetheless.
The Cedarville Reservoir looks particularly tranquil tonight after high winds yesterday. High winds return tomorrow, so this scene looks particularly sweet to me. Rat Trap Press - I'll post a photo of my wife's old mixte tomorrow - I ran out of light tonight.

The hill on your commute reminds me of Hooters Hill. My max on that is 38.4 mph. You can see the view from the top of Hooters Hill in this post.
Seeing your photos makes me want to head out for a ride in the country.
Thanks Doohickie for the link to your commute. I do feel fortunate that all of my commute is rural between my home and where I work in Auburn, IN. I hit the hill in the photo going to work in the morning. I usually can keep going at least 10 mph by the time I get to the top if I pedal really hard.
I love mixtes, so I'm looking forward to seeing your wife's bike. I have two of them that I'm currently working on (mixtes, not wives).
I'm glad you clarified that, Jon.
